Meeting April 27 and other tidbits

The Sedro-Woolley High School Alumni Association will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the SW Senior Center. All alums and friends are always invited!

Lots to discuss at this meeting - our busiest time of year is coming up!
On Thursday, April 28th, the Sedro-Woolley School District will hold it annual Community Recognition event in the high school auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Among the honorees is our own Lola Ellestad, SWHSAA Secretary and "driving force" behind the Alumni Association! We're so proud of her, a 1942 graduate and all-around organizer!

Other honorees include Kay Brown (my first grade teacher!), Ron Shanander, and Rudy Franulovich.

See the full article in today's Courier Times and plan to attend!

In other news, if May is coming, then the annual Geranium and Tomato Plant Sale is surely coming, too! Saturday, May 7th, at the SW Community Center! Starts at 9:00 a.m. This is one of the Alunni Association's most popular events! And a good fund raiser for our scholarship program. So make your yard beautiful with SWHSAA plants this year!

And it's also time to make your reservation for the All-Class picnic July 9th. $15 per person. See the recent newsletter for more details - be sure to choose a hamburger or chicken when you send in your $15. Use the pre-addressed envelope in the newsletter or send your info to SWHS AA PO Box 509, Sedro-Woolley WA 98284

Watch this blog for more news about upcoming events and Sedro-Woolley. After all, it's YOUR association!
