2018 Alumni Plant Sale - a floral frenzy!

What an amazing turnout for our annual Plant Sale May 5, 2018!!  Yes, people began to arrive at 8 a.m. - a full hour before our advertised opening.  But we were ready! 

Geraniums, tomatoes, begonias, and a few lovely surprises awaited our shoppers.  And we helped them load hundreds of plants into their cars!

The weather was beautiful; just the right day for planting spring flowers and meeting up with friends.

So THANKS to our shoppers and to our volunteers for making this a successful fund raiser for scholarships for CUBS!

Alumni and Schools Foundation annual Plant Sale this weekend!

Saturday, April 30 is the date for the annual Sedro-Woolley Alumni and Schools Foundation annual plant sale fundraiser!

So many of our local CUBS and their supporters plan to buy geraniums and tomato plants from us every year - to support scholarships and classroom grants and to make sure they have the BEST plants for their beautiful summer gardens!

We are in a "new" location this year, at BINGHAM PARK in Sedro-Woolley.  Find us there, starting at 9 a.m. and we'll be selling plants until they are gone!  Yes, we usually sell out by early afternoon, so plan to come in the morning!

Thanks for your support and for providing us the opportunity to give scholarships and classroom grants to our local students.  See you April 30th!

Geraniums, Tomatoes, and YOU! Saturday, May 3rd!

Our second-most popular fundraiser of the year (for scholarships) is Saturday, May 3rd!  Almost here!  It is our annual Geranium and Tomato plant sale!  Usual place - at the little building next to the Sedro-Woolley Community Center on Pacific Street.  Sale starts at 9 a.m. and continues until we're sold out, which is normally around noon.  Time to get your hanging baskets planted with our beautiful geraniums and to plant individually raised (and coddled...) tomato plants from one of our dedicated members.  Bring cash - there will also be delicious baked goods for sale and our complimentary coffee will be on!  Do you think that May 3 will dawn bright and sunny?  Sure it will!  Get this great event on your calendar now!

SWHS Alumni Assn Plant Sale 2013 is a BIG success!

Wow!  Many thanks to the MANY customers who turned out to support our scholarship program this morning!  Those plants went flying out the door - some customers wanted a dozen at a time!  Really a gratifying event for us in our quest to fund scholarships for SWHS and State Street HS graduates.  If you missed the fun, come next year!  Better yet, volunteer to help!

Our next big event, which is also a scholarship fundraiser, is the All-Class Picnic on July 13th.  It's the place to be to meet and greet your fellow Cubs this summer!  More info in the next post!

Geranium and tomato plant sale is a big hit!

The SWHS Alumni Association Plant sale was this morning, May 7th. What a turnout! By the 9:00 start time everything was well under way and plants were streaming out the door. Light rain did not deter Alumni Scholarship supporters as they dreamed of warmer days and colorful planters!

Thanks to everyone who came - worker or customer. We needed you all!

Plant Sale - details revealed!!

The Alumni Association's popular Geranium and Tomato plant sale is now scheduled for Saturday, May 7th! At the building next to the Community Center in Sedro-Woolley. Sale starts at 9 a.m. Plants are $3.50 each and the proceeds support our scholarship program. We sell out every year!



Come early and be ready to choose beautiful, healthy plants and run right home to get them in the ground!


We plan some baked goods for sale to tempt you, too. And all your friends will be there! An annual tradition. See you May 7th!

This will be the date for the Alumni Association's annual Plant and Bake Sale at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center Annex. Details will be posted later and will also be in our newsletter. You'll want to pre-order!

July 9, 2011

This is the date for our most popular event, the All-Class Picnic at Riverfront Park! Information on pre-purchase of tickets will be posted later and will also be in the newsletter. But get this date reserved on your calendar and tell your friends!!
