SWHS 2019 All Class Picnic July 13 at Riverfront Park!

The 2019 All Class Picnic will be held Saturday, July 13th at Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley.  Food will be available to purchase on site from some local food truck vendors, or bring your own picnic!  No advance registration is required.  A $5 admission per person helps us pay for our expenses associated with the event.

Gate opens at 11 a.m. - food trucks start serving at noon.  There will be our traditional raffles to support scholarships for local grads, and each class is encouraged to bring signage so that your fellow CUBS can find YOU!

Yes, there will be golf cart transportation from the lower parking lot for those who want a boost up the little hill!

Remind your classmates and fellow alums that this is the premier get-together of the year!

We are always grateful to our fine sponsors:  Sims Honda/Sims Family, and the Keith Sorestad State Farm office.

Plan to come and meet up with your fellow CUBS and introduce yourself to some folks from other classes!  We have so much fun at this event and we love to share the tradition!

2018 All Class Picnic was a great event!

Thanks!!  To everyone who planned, executed, and came to our annual All Class Picnic!  So great to see everyone and especially to see some new faces!

Our traditional venue is Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley and we love to be close to our own Skagit River!  We have common tents (provided annually by the Sims family) and some classes bring their own.  Most classes provide signage!  And it's so fun to see the photo boards popping up around the park.

We tried something new with the food this year, and eliminated the catered lunch.  Attendees were welcome to bring their own meals and we had a food truck on site with a menu of favorites for people to buy.  It was a wonderful solution to the issues we have had with getting the right food for everyone and the pre-registration work that goes with it.  So thanks for being part of our great experiment and we hope you liked it!

We did charge a $5 admission to cover our costs in setting up the picnic and to fund our scholarship program.

Check back here, check our Facebook page, and check the 2019 newsletter to see if we keep exactly the same arrangement next year or if we tweak it a little.  Our wrap-up meeting is July 20th and you are invited to attend and get involved!  See our Facebook page for the time and place.

Here is a set of photos by Dani Baird for you to enjoy.  Thanks again for being CUBS!!
